Inconsistencies.

This is the kind of thing that drives me nuts about religion. 77-year old Cardinal Francis George of Chicago has cancer. So he has begun his latest cancer treatment, three rounds of chemotherapy. Wouldn't his cancer be God's will? And since it is God's will, why would he have chemotherapy? If God is all powerful and all-seeing, why wouldn't the Cardinal's faith allow him to pray it away? The answer, it seems to me, is that the faith these religious leaders claim to have is not that strong at all. And, in a crisis, they don't turn to prayer at all, but to modern medicine just like any atheist.
