The Hypocrisy of Facebook.com

I love it, Facebook.com will have videos showing all kinds of nudity, tons of homoerotica, violent movie scenes, and animals being savagely attacked. But you can make the most innocent of comments, and suddenly you're barred from using the site, or forced, for no good reason, to reset your identity and password. I was so punished for commenting on Randy Rainbow's running for President satire, "I wish it were true. He'd have my vote." Now since I am a Luddite and useless with computers, I have to hire an IT person for $100 to jump through all the hoops Facebook has lined up to get me back in action. As I said before, you cannot speak to anyone to plead your case. Their word is law.Take it or leave it. Since I enjoy the site, I'll pay up, and avoid freedom of speech from now on.

Kicked off Facebook.com

I love Facebook.com. I use it every day, and make lots of comments, which seem to be appreciated by their customers. But today I watched a Randy Rainbow video in which he comically is running for president. I commented, "I wish it were true. He'd have my vote." Within 15 minutes Google wrote to me calling my comment inappropiate and insisting I change my password, and other things which I didn't understand. Being an 80-year old Luddite, it's too much stress and work, so I must say goodbye to Facebook.com. Sadly Google, like so many companies, does not allow you to speak directly with them so one must accept their unfair dismissal.
