A different "Let It Go"

I did a post commenting on how I had written a song called "Let It Go" a decade before Disney did Frozen. But then it occurred to me that's easy to say. So, not that anybody's interested, but here is the song. In my musical, Euphoria,  the singers are creators of clouds, which they are often unwilling to release into the sky. But they are also singing about past hurts which sometimes are just as hard to release.

   Drea:
Let it go. Let it go.
Don't fuss about it so.
It will sail or it will sink
No matter what you think
Or what you feel or what you know.
Let it go.

Hue
Let it go.Let it go.
If you've been hurt by a word
Let it go. Like a bird.
Set it free
You wouldn't hold a wasp in your hand
Once his sting made you cry.
So why clutch a thing
That continues to sting.
Let if fly.
The pain that you feel
Will abate and you'll heal
Once you know
That you can't hold a hate
And you can't  clutch a woe.
Let it go. Let it go. Let it go.
