It's no secret how I detest the lazy and incompetent media. It's not enough that they actually quote brain-dead persons like Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent rather than seeking out real news, but they get involved in the most absurd "what ifs". The latest is wondering whether Rick Perry will run for president in 2016. Give me a break! Rick Perry? The moron who couldn't think of the third item on his "most important" list? The Republican with a gay scandal in his background? The guy who has his own "greatest gaffes" video on the Internet? That Rick Perry? Think how much better informed we would be as a country if the news media, notably broadcast, weren't always chasing stories and personalities of no possible real news value.
