Rep. Steve Hickey, a Republican lawmaker and Christian leader from South Dakota has written a letter warning that gay sex is a "One Way Alley for the Garbage Truck." Apparently what inspired him to write a warning with such a vague and boring analogy (I know it's a metaphor, but I preferred a word
with anal in it) is that he's upset that South Dakota's same-sex marriage ban is being challenged in federal court. Hickey, who is supposedly straight spends much more time thinking about men having sex than I do, and I'm gay. Like most rabid Christians he cites the bible for proof of his madness, without specific chapter and verse, of course. So while the rest of us go about our lives, working, paying bills, having dinner out or going to the movies, Hickey (funny name) is constantly tormented by visions of two or more handsome men (probably even his handsome, beefy, muscular local garbage man) locked in each other's arms, doing all kinds of biblically forbidden things to each other. He just can't focus on anything else. Isn't that sad?
