It's May 1st. And while I know much of the world, especially Russia celebrates May Day, I am always reminded of something much lessknown. That is the lyrics to Rodgers and Hart's song "Mountain Greenery." One of the most clever rhymes in that song is, "Beans can get no keener reception in a beanery." I find this especially wonderful these days when so many "songwriters" can't seem to effectively rhyme two words.
