It happens in the best of shows.

A scene I detest in movies, plays and TV sitcoms. It's when a person is trying to reveal a bit of information to another character and they keep interrupting making it impossible to get the message across, thus they separate without ever having made the situation clear. It's always annoying. Always unbelievable. Just saw it again in the 1954 film Top Banana, but is the kind of tired bit that still goes any today.
