Pamela Meyer, liar expert and expert liar.
For some bizarre reason I still read Reader's Digest though it has become increasingly simplistic and skimpy. While it's humor columns used to be funny, they are now filled with very weak jokes indeed. But a recent article has probably convinced me to drop this partisan magazine. The article was by an "expert" on lying named Pamela Meyer. While the article was innocent enough, she had a sidebar titled "Pamela Meyer Ranks Last Year's Biggest Liars, Hoaxes, and Pranks." With this segment she proved herself to be a liar herself, not to mention a Republican, prig, and homophobe. Of her ten worst liars she chose Obama twice, Anthony Weiner, and a gay waitress in New Jersey. Surely this year gave us a rich lode of liars, whom she chose not to mention since she preferred to list mostly those persons she hated. On her list was Obama saying, "If you like your insurance you can keep your insurance." which was not a lie but a mistake. So she lied about that. I can see now why she's such an expert on lying.
