I am not surprised that Terry McAuliffe beat Ken Cuccunelli in the Virginia governor's race. But I am astounded that the news reports it as a "narrow margin". What does that mean?  It means that a lot of idiotic women must have voted for a man who is eager to strip them of all their rights. It means that a lot of moronic, chauvinistic men couldn't care less about women's health issues and the right to govern their own bodies. Considering what a major prude and moralistic maniac Cuccinelli is, McAuliffe should have won by a landslide. The fact that he didn't speaks very ill for the very backward State of Virginia. I certainly hope that tonight lots of Virginians, gay and straight, celebrate McAuliffe'svictory with hours of extended sodomy.
