The hands have it.

Since the killing in Ferguson, those protesting racial discrimination have frequently held their "hands up" to indicate that several witnesses swear that Michael Brown had his hands up in surrender before he was shot to death. It is a strong symbol of what black males in America face under often-bigoted police departments. But now they may need to adopt another symbol: their hands in their pockets. When 25-year-old black male Brandon McKean (above) was walking to a friend's house in Pontiac, Michigan, he was stopped by a deputy for the sole reason that he had his hands in his pockets. While most people wouldn't find that suspicious on a below-freezing day apparently the paranoid deputy did. Needless to say Brandon resented this assault on his liberty. Meanwhile the sheriff is busy coming up with all kinds of excuses for this profiling.
