Julia, how could you?


Why would someone as wealthy and talented as Julia Louis-Dreyfus be willing to do this truly stupid commercial for Old Navy, an advertiser famous for some of television's worst commercials? What could possibly have motivated her, especially if she saw the script beforehand? Not only does the commercial suck, but it's one of the oldest cliches in advertising: running out on an event in order to score savings at some store. Even Audi is using this cliche this year.
