With so many hotel sites on the Internet, I guess Booking.com decided to be the most tacky and vulgar to be remembered. While their recent commercials seem to somewhat avoid the pathetic attempt to associate the word booking with fucking, they are still trashy ads populated with tacky tourists. I wonder what it is about hotel booking sites that brings out the worst in advertisers: A puffy William Shatner tossing a man out the hotel window for Priceline.com, the repulsive Caption Obvious for Hotels.com, and, of course, the most unpleasant ads for all: Booking.com.
