These commercials make me nuts. We all know shingles is a terrible affliction and, yes, we should take whatever precautions it takes to prevent it. But the claim that 1 out of 3 people will get shingles in their lifetime seems incredibly exaggerated to me. If that were true, we would all knows lots and lots of people who have or had shingles. I'm 71, and have only met about four people who told me they have shingles. Someone is getting wealthy with these shots, pity they have to lie do it.
