Why not just remove the Ts?

If you read my blog frequently, you will know that I am a nut for pronunciation Although I don't know why I have to label myself a nut. Shouldn't we all care about our language and its proper usage? Anyway, among my many gripes are companies that don't even pronounce their own names correctly. Even when they advertise and hire high-priced voice talent, their names are still shown no respect. One of the worst offenders is Enterprise Car Rental, which has named itself Ennaprze in every commercial for years. But this week I noticed a double offender. Rent-A-Center. You can imagine how annoyed I get every time I see a commercial for Ren-a-senna. Are ts really that hard to pronounce?
