America's saddest newspeople.

Who are they? Anyone at Fox. While it's true that most of them are pretty damn vacuous, notably those three morons on Fox and Friends that spout endless inanities, others probably are not. There must be men and women working as Fox commentators who studied journalism, who took pride in their reporting talents and their good fortune in being telegenic, who imagined illustrious careers. Then they sought out broadcast positions and ended up at Fox where they can never be impartial, never gain any credits for trenchant comments, and intelligent insights. They know that spewing out blather will not impress anyone in power at the  major networks. They are merely psittacious ciphers repeating the party line, being lumped together with creatures like Sarah Palin and Alan West, and, of course, mostly not being paid as well. Many of their liberal friends, which I am sure they have, must look down on them for their obsequious kissing of Roger Ailes ample and bigoted buttocks.  And heaven forbid their children grow up to become liberal thinkers and realize what an unfulfilled puppet their mother or father was for snapping to it for such  a propagandist organization.

Note: Shepard Smith, above, is one of the saddest cases at Fox, though he may not think so. As a gay man, one can only imagine the bigots that surround him at Fox. And, he must appreciate that if he hadn't sold his soul to the devil, he probably would be a major force on a respectable network.
