Commercials like this kill me. They go to all the trouble of setting up a realistic situation. The husband and wife are awakened by their crying child. The husband agrees to take him for a late night ride. So far so good. But then he says, "I'll take him for a ride in the Buick." Who says that? Might as well say, "I think I'll get a glass of milk out of the Frigidaire." It's either lousy copywriting or the neurotic client insisting on getting the name in whether it sounds stupid or not. I see too many of these dumb commercials on my Sony.
