A CONGRESS OF SALAMANDERS

A group of  reptilian Republicans have come out from under their rock again to request more e-mails from Hillary Clinton, eager to prove—despite all their failures—that she is a criminal. And what they are proving instead is that they are not patriots. At a time when there are two choices for our next president, and one of them, Trump, would be a disaster, these venomous assholes are working to weaken the wise choice, Clinton. The suggestion that she deliberately sent out top secret e-mails is absurd. More absurd is these slithering politicians are sliming her with  exaggerations  about mild indiscretions while Trump, who some support, is increasingly associated with communist Russia. For the past eight years these cold-blooded Republicans have been a  plague on Congress, letting their partisanship override their concern for the government and citizens of the United States. Like any fifth column they plotted to undermine President Obama, and now they are out to destroy future President Clinton. They call it truth seeking. I call it treason.
