They would love nothing better than for America to be a theocracy, though they themselves rarely follow Christian teachings. Our founders wisely separated Church and State, and it should stay that way. If anything we should stop giving religions special privileges and tax the vast land holdings that churches have unrelated to their supposed beliefs. Why should any church possess hotels, businesses, schools, restaurants? They shouldn't. There are too many proselytizers in government working to make their religion more powerful. Notably Pence and Pompeo. Fortunately Trump is an atheist, but being a lying, fraudulent son of a bitch, he'll never admit it.
