WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE.

It's too bad so many African-Americans are so anti-gay. Because I think gay people could save Baltimore. I went house hunting in Baltimore about five years ago. I decided not to move there, but was amazed at the number of four- and five-story brick town houses were available. Baltimore was like Boston before it was gentrified and the South End went from brick town houses selling for $25,000 to over three million. There is no house bargains in downtown Boston anymore, but there are hundreds in Baltimore, a city ripe for rebirth. I personally like Baltimore and saw some houses that would be fantastic showplaces given the right attention. Bow front houses with two entrances, two living rooms connected by handsome pocket doors, and four, count them, four bedrooms Row houses who could  go from shabby to stately without a lot of work or money. I could easily see Baltimore becoming San Francisco East, offering elegant apartments to workers in Washington D.C. Being a sophisticated, beautiful, integrated city.
