What a neurotic nation we've become. Mayor Bloomberg says that Corey Booker is well-spoken and the news media leaps on that comment like wolves on a lost sheep. Sorry, but Corey Booker is well-spoken so is Pete Buttigieg, but with Pete it would be a compliment with Corey it must be a racist remark. Surely Mayor Bloomberg couldn't have meant it as a innocent awareness of one of Corey's many skills; no, it had to be a veiled insult. So now, instead of focusing on his campaign and what he can promise the voters, he has to dodge assaults from a "looking for trouble" press corps or at least
some biased members of the press who probably leaped on the comment because that's the way their bigoted little minds work.
