I didn't catch the name of the hypocrite on Katie Tur's show today, but his defense of Trump was very disturbing. It seemed that he was saying that Trump can separate families, imprison children, cheat on his wives, lie, steal, and create havoc as long as he is anti-abortion and appoints conservative judges. This hypocrite kept saying that Christ is the standard for behavior, but what the hell, we can overlook any number of immoralities as long as we get what we want. This schmuck was the most pathetic apologist I've ever seen. Fortunately Christianity Today, an influential evangelical magazine, says Trump, "should be removed from office." For some unknown reason evangelicals have been standing firmly behind the complete immoral Trump. Nice to see that at least one magazine has finally come to their senses.
Note: This happy change would not have happened if Billie Graham or Franklin Graham were in charge of this progressive magazine. Both of them were, like Trump, charlatans and firmly in his corner, or any corner that resulted in wealth.
Note: I'm not sure the hypocrite was Bob Vander Plaats, but he was just on MSNBC delivering the same kind of idiotic support for Trump.
