I don't know why I continue to read HuffPost every day when it is so often annoying. Today an article featured this introductory headline:"Mets Player Says He "Disagrees" with the Gay Lifestyle 100 Percent." Naturally I expected a story about an professional athlete who was totally homophobic. But what did I get? This story: Daniel Murphy of the New York Mets says that he would accept a gay teammate even though he disagrees with the "lifestyle". And added that he could love a teammate who was gay, and was glad for the visit of Billy Bean, a former major league player who came out as gay after retiring. So why did HuffPost open this article with such a negative intro? Because they wanted to put a different slant on it? Because they wanted to vilify Daniel Murphy? Or just that they have lousy writers?
