Republicans complain about releasing American captive.

I'm hoping that in the next presidential campaign, recently released prisoner Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl campaigns for the Democrat nominee and reminds voters that the Republicans objected to his release in exchange for five Taliban detainees. Now free and reunited with his couldn't-be-happier family, Bowe can point out that many Repubs like Representative Mike Rogers of Michigan would have preferred that Bowe, a prisoner for five years, remain in captivity, calling his release "dangerous." Rafael Cruz, who probably never suffered an uncomfortable day in his privileged Canadian life, went so far as to idiotically suggest that Bowe himself would object to being released. Of course Bowe knows, as do most Americans, that the GOP objects only because Obama initiated this swap. If a Republican had done it, Rogers, Cruz  and every other  hypocritical Republican would be thrilled to have a loyal American home with his family. Bowe is home thanks to President Obama. That's something voters will remember.
