Why did the elephant lose its mind?

Come on. Even sane Republicans must have noticed that the leaders of the Republican party have lost their collective minds. President Obama hasn't done one thing that's reprehensible, but they're screaming—and I mean screaming—impeachment. Ms. Lindsey Graham has a constant state of the vapors. His boyfriend John McCain faults Obama for not going to war with every country on earth. Fox news are wetting their pants every night they're so excited about Benghazi even though they don't know where it is. In their Alice in Wonderland world it is now an impeachable offense to bring home a prisoner of war. Bowe Bergdahl's father looks like the Taliban to them, but the even more hirsute Phil Robertson, a racist, was invited to speak at a Republican conference. Hannity no longer has any control over his insane rants nor, I suspect, his bowels. Paul Ryan is doing everything but burning hungry children on the Capitol steps. Limbaugh is so shakingly angry all his fat layers quiver at once. They're all mad, so mad they can watch the news every night with its constant tornadoes, baseball-sized hail stones, sink holes, landslides, mudslides, thousand-acre fires, and raging midwest floods and not think for a single moment that something just may be wrong...other than having a black president.
