AFTER YOU GOT THE JOB.

Let's say you landed a good, highly paid job.The person that held it before is gone, has nothing to do with the company any more. He had made a life for himself elsewhere. But he was admired in the company, did an excellent job, and most employees speak well of him. But from the day you took over you have nothing good to say about this former occupant of your role. You make up stories about him. You tell lies about his style of management. You can't say one good thing about him. And basically you didn't even know him. At times you suggest he should be arrested and put in jail, though you have no reason for such a charge. If this were the case, you would look ridiculous to all your employees who would assume you were jealous and insecure. They would wonder why you can't just be glad to have the position and make something of it. They would question your mental stability. And if it it weren't a position like President of the United States such psychopathic behavior would be reason for immediate dismissal.
