Resident Trump has said that his ordering the assassination of Qassem Soleimani was justified because this Iranian terrorist was planning to imminently kill many other Americans. That's what Trump said. But keep in mind that Trump is a liar. A pants constantly on fire liar. He lies about everything. He even lies when it's not necessary. Surely he could see that the death of Soleimani would be an ideal distraction from his impeachment and make most of Trump's gullible fans see it as a heroic act. So the death if Soleimani was a real plus for Trump and a real minus for the United States and any Americans still abroad, since any fool (except Trump) could see that it would inspire the most severe retaliation.  But since Trump has no human feelings about anyone other than himself he will not be troubled by any American deaths that result from his very convenient self-serving lie about Soleimani.
