As serious as this commercial is, it's very odd. It opens with "Nobody is ever prepared for cancer. That's why were are." Huh? You just said nobody is ever prepared. Maybe if you wrote, "No individual is every prepared for cancer." it would be more logical. Oh, well.
I am a retired copywriter. For 40 years I wrote for major agencies and developed some campaigns you would know. Like most writers, I love to give my opinion, and since I am so familiar with advertising this is the area I chose to comment on.
Actually I'm not that cranky. I am as fond
of as many things as I detest. But since most people only hear what one doesn't like, I might as well go with cranky.For my other blog idleideasfactory I am putting out there things I have written and ideas for books, screenplays, stage plays, and even products that I will not have time in life to follow through on.
