GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS. ACTUALLY ONLY BAD.

Let's face it. There are too many commercials on television. You can't watch a program for ten minutes before you're forced to watch three minutes of commercials for pharmaceuticals, cars, mattresses, insurance companies, lawyers, hospitals, PSAs and more. This is especially annoying with the three network's so-called evening news which let's you watch commercial-free for about 12 minutes, then interrupts with advertising. After returning, they break again after several short topics or just one mini-story. I was so curious to find out which of the three networks has the most commercials on their half-hour evening news, I counted the ads. Surprisingly NBC, ABC, and CBS  all came out the same, averaging 20 commercial spots during their 30 minutes and all using the same system of loading up the second half of their so-called news coverage. If more people don't start complaining about these excessive and annoying interruptions, I can assure you by next year these networks will average 30 commercials every half hour.
