IS IT STILL A STAIRWAY TO PARADISE?

In the far-too-often-aired Range Rover commercial which opens with their car zooming up Pike's Peak, they seem very proud of its tenacity. But I wonder what kind of damage it did to the magnificent 999 stairs of China's Dragon Challenge. I find it hard to believe that a heavy car speeding up those steps left them all intact.
