THE NEW CONGREGATION.

Look at this photo. This is a Trump crowd in Arizona. Almost all white, all Christian. This is the same crowd you would see in many of America's mega-churches. Except when they are in the churches they swear allegiance to Christ and vow to live a good Christian life. But when those same people are here they become racists and bigots and narrow-minded haters. They vindictively shout that they want Hillary in prison, though they don't know why. They giggle at Trump's obscenities; they cheer his plans to evict millions of people from their homes. They ignore his misogyny and charges of criminality. They spew hate and vengeance and worship a powerful pastor who has rarely behaved in a true Christian manner. In short they abandon every precept they were taught in church during their lifetime. They might just as well burn their bibles. As an atheist, I should be pleased to witness such mass hypocrisy, but I'm not.
