THE FIREPOWER NEXT TIME.

I hope if there's another assault on the Capitol or other D.C. building that this time there are patriotic police who use actual force. For some reason most police seem to think the only way to deal with felons is to kill them. The thugs of Wednesday would have been well educated with a bullet in the leg.There's nothing like limping through the airport to make you aware of what an idiot you were. These people are criminal. We don't want our law enforcement to guide them down the stairs, pour water in their stinging eyes, and send them home safely with all their stolen items. We want insurrectionists to feel fear and pain, to realize that criminal acts don't go unpunished and unnoticed. We don't want deaths; we want awareness. White supremacists should be terrified of the fire power of a black national guard. Anti-Semites should not want to come within yards of an angry Jewish officer. And even the garden variety thugs should go away with stinging eyes, painful lungs, and possibly handcuffs. These thugs may arrive with hearts full of hate and malice, but they should leave with bodies full of cuts, bruises, and painful inflictions that will heal in time. To achieve this it takes dedicated cops and a fury that anyone would attack our democracy and expect to walk away as easily as the mob did on Wednesday.
