The news keeps telling me that the reason so many Republicans are kissing Trump's ass is that they want his fans' goodwill. That's quite an assumption, that these fickle rubes who love Trump today will love him a year from now. Maybe many of them are already disillusioned. And who knows how they'll feel next year after Trump has been arrested, on trial, shown to be a assaulter of women, and possibly even a molester of several pre-teens in Jeffrey Epstein's horror harem. A year is a long time. It's even possible that Biden will have improved their lives to such a degree they're over their infatuation with Trump. Josh Hawley and his gang of traitors shouldn't judge 74 million people by the thugs who show up Wednesday. Even bigots, racists, and illiterates like living in a democracy and don't take kindly to ambitious autocrats upsetting their apple cart.
