Mitch McConnell made must be the slimiest, creepiest, most insincere and sickening comment of his career today. In referring to Trump's lying and downplaying the coronavirus, he said he felt that Trump should be applauded for his action, not criticized. So what McConnell was saying was that it was okay for almost 200,000 American citizens to die because their president lied to them about the dangers of coronavirus and gave them the confidence to socialize and mingle. He apparently feels that Trump bears no responsibility for misleading the American public and causing so many lonely and frightening deaths with his lies. I only hope enough people in Kentucky find this obscene comment so infuriating that it costs this terrapin enough votes that we never have to see his ugly and biased face again.
