This morning President Trump gave another one of his insanely optimistic speeches about the state of the nation. He suggested the country is opening up. A lie. He suggested his administration saved millions of lives. A lie. He predicted a fantastic Third Quarter. Bullshit. To hear him talk you would think we are living in a golden age and about to move into platinum. And of course he made his usual accusations with this favorite word, "hoax". His lies were so absurd and transparent that I was really annoyed that MSNBC guest Andrew Puzder, who followed this rant, defended Trump's hopeful fantasies. And Stephenie Ruhle did not say enough to contradict this obvious Trump toady.
