JOE AND THE JACKASS.

Forgetting about last night's debacle between a qualified statesman and a raging henna-faced raging bull telling lie after lies as he constantly swung his quivering jaws back and forth, I am annoying by other things. One, of course, is the news networks trying to redeem Trump's insanity. Notably the sanctimonious Rick Santorum working desperately on CNN to ameliorate Trump's madness. And this morning a black woman on MSNBS whose name I didn't get applauding Trump for having the loyalty of not betraying his White Supremist bigots. How noble of him. She must be very popular with her friends. Apparently these proud boys were so buoyed byTrump's support they used his words for such propaganda material as Tee shirt and posters. As far as Chris Wallace is concerned, he was just the unfortunate victim of a bully who has always felt that rules never apply to him. 

 I DON'T BELIEVE IT! IN THE FIRST FIFTEEN MINUTES OF THE NBC NIGHTLY NEWS THE NETWORK WAS TOTALLY PRO TRUMP. WHAT IS GOING ON? On Tuesday night while looking forward to the debate, I turned on the NBC News. The first report was with a group of farmers. The reporter managed to get all of them (about 15) to say they were unanimously for Trump, who had done so much for them. If that wasn't enough he got all these rubes to all raise their hands to signify that they believed that China deliberately sent the Cover-19 virus to the U.S, Nuts. I was somewhat encouraged when a reporter said she was going to check the mood in the nearby suburbs. We next see a group of suburban woman and the only one she queried indicated that she was for Trump, who she felt has done good job. I felt this was a very weird and biased opening for the night of the first debate. It was more like Fox than NBC. 

A BOOK ABOUT A MONSTER.

 In several past posts, I have been very critical of MSNBC—my go-to news source—accusing them of being significantly responsible for burdening us with Donald Trump. I felt that their constant exposure of Trump's shenanigans, along with their avoidance of Hillary and actual lies abut her popularity were helpful in saddling America with this vicious mental case. Now I am glad to find agreement in Michael Cohen's excellent book Disloyal. I should resent Cohen for his part in this nightmare, but I don't. I admire him for how honest and repentant he is in this book, and how amazingly self-analyzing. But I was most pleased by his agreement with me when he wrote, "The free press gave America Trump. Right, left, moderate, tabloid, broadsheet, television, radio, internet, Facebook—that is who elected Trump and might well elect him again." A distinct possibility since at least MSNBC is making all the same mistakes of praising Trump with faint damn. I suspect that even after tonight's debate, they will spend more time on Trump's words than Biden's. This leaves me very concerned about the election results knowing that Trump keeps getting too muchface time, good or bad. I recommend Disloyal to everyone. Not only a great read, but clear view of how how empty, cold, and dangerous is America's present dictator, Donald Trump.

IF TRUMP CAN MAKES THINGS UP, SO CAN I.

 Everyone has their theory as to whom Trump owes 400 million dollars. I might as well add mine. It is not many people. It is only Russia. Trump was loaned that much-needed rescue money with the provision that he win the election (with their help) and that he provide opportunities involving mostly Russian resources to help them make huge profits. Like most Trump assignments, he failed, and is desperate to win the coming election after which he promises  to make good. Melania is more than his wife. She is his watchdog. She reports on his behavior, which is why he doesn't get nasty with her. (Note her Russian inspired outfit at the recent White House event.) I also feel $400 million was only the declared part of the loan. There's much more. And without the resources and protection of the presidency, Trump is on his own and in danger of falling victim to one of Putin's many ways of dealing with persons who fail him.

THE FOX IN THE HEN HOUSE.

While I'm looking forward to tonight's debate, I'm beginning to smell a rat. Why is Chris Wallace moderating? Why does Fox News, a defender of Trump taking the lead? Why not Jeanine Piro or Laura Ingraham?  On Morning Joe they suggested that Chris will ask a lot of tough questions about Hunter Biden. Why? Isn't that doing Trump's work? Isn't that a, "Where was Obama born?" line of questioning?  Has word come down from the powers at Fox to help Trump any way possible or lose your position?Does Wallace intend to ask any questions about Trump's children of the corn, whom Michael Cohen rightly describes as "jackals"? With all his lies and thefts and endless crimes, I am amazed that Trump can even run for President of our once-clean country.  I hope the American people look carefully at every sick trick and ploy Trump uses: listen carefully to every sick accusation. evil innuendo, and baseless lie. I hope they ask themselves this time: Is this really the kind of vulgar, ignorant low-life we want representing our  country. Because if they don't, it won't be their country much longer.

MAKING LAWS FOR THE MINORITY.

 What good is a Supreme Court that gets to make decisions that the majority of Americans don't agree with, but are forced to live by?  Studies show that most Americans believe abortion should be available, so why should this magical thinking, religious zealot get to repeal Roe vs Wade? If most Americans want affordable health insurance, why should this well-to--do spoiled upper-class elitist be able to wrest it away from millions of Americans who depend on it, because it offends her personal opinion. She is supposed to make laws for America.Something is very wrong here. We have a tax-evading psychopath with a criminal record appointing a  privileged pious Bible thumper for the sole reason of punishing America's poor and middle class with possible new laws that the majority of the American people do no agree with. How is this democracy?  And aiding him in this nasty pursuit is a cadre of treasonous Republican senators. Sadly there are not four patriotic Americans among them. The Constitution requires the separation of Church and State. Abortion is a religious argument. Betsy Devos has already poisoned America with her magical thinking. Are we now to be required to live by Barretts' beliefs about an all-knowing guy in the sky?  The Supreme Court has already been tainted with the degenerate Clarence Thomas and the lying  Bret Kavanaugh. Soon we will be stuck with the sanctimonious and hypocritical Amy Coney Barrett. Why hypocritical?  If you're supposedly a good Christian woman who has taken on the responsibility of seven children, then don't walk out on them for the ego-boost of a time-consuming job that puts your children under a constant microscope.

SECONDS BEFORE THE UNNECESSARY AMBER ALERT.

Who is the idiot who came up with the Amber Alert. Not that I don't approve of altering the general public when a child is abducted. But this system is insane. Why should I have my cell phone blaring loudly in the middle of the night, waking me to tell me a child has been abducted 100 miles way? Am I supposed to leap out of bed, jump in my car (I don't have a car) and go in search of the abductor. It's annoying enough with one alarm, but usually there are two or three. It make no sense at all. I am amazed that anyone got away with foisting this absurd program on the general public.  I am sure some Amber Alert procedures are  effective, but not waking entire communities up in the dead of night with repeated nerve-jangling alarms to spur them to solve a situation they can't do a damn thing about. Stop it!

AMERICA'S SECOND MOST DANGEROUS SERIAL KILLER.

It was obvious before he was elected that Ron DeSantis was an idiot. During his term as Governor, he has made one stupid mistake after another. His latest is the most deadly of all: Opening up Florida's businesses, including both indoor and outdoor dining. This reckless action is sure to result in many thousands contracting coronavirus, and hundreds dying from Covid-19. Does this guy have a single brain cell that tells him how unwise this action is? Unfortunately his laissez-faire attitude will appeal to many young good-time hedonists who think they are immortal. We don't understand this virus yet. It is a new kind of savage beast that we shouldn't go near until we know more about its hungers and habits. Sadly Ron DeSantis in his misplaced arrogance thinks he has all the answers and is ready to expose his naive constituents to this voracious creature. He smugly feels he had done Florida a favor with his ill-advised idiocy. Pay attention to the news and you'll soon see increasing sickness and death figures, most of which could have been avoided if we didn't have such an incompetent Governor.

A DOUBLE-DEALING DUMMY'S DEBTS.

This week we learned that Trump doesn't pay taxes, (apparently the IRS doesn't bother to look into the cheating of wealthy people only the poor and middle class.) In the past eleven years, he has paid income tax only once, $750 in 2016, so basically that comes to less than $70 a year. We also discovered—surprise!— that Trump owes $421 million dollars to creditors due in the next four months. We don't know to whom, of course, but at least all the dirt is coming out. Now if Trump were a billionaire, which he isn't,  $421 million dollars would be no  problem since it's a thousand million, but it's a sore point for a cheapskate. I wonder how much he promised to William Barr to destroy that once-admired attorney's reputation. I'm guessing quite a lot. As you probably know Trump made most of his money from cheating and criminal activities, (and his father's misplaced faith in Donald's weak intellect). But mostly for allowing companies to use the Trump name, which once meant something. Not any more. Now the Trump logo is a joke. A stigma being removed from many buildings and products. He still has one thing going for him. The complete stupidity, gullibility, and loyalty of the idiots who believe everything he says, and who don't mind at all that in their lifetimes every one of them has paid far more in taxes than this fat, spoiled scam artist.

TRUMP IS A BIG FAT CHEAT, LITERALLY.

When I was kid one of the worst thing you could be called was a poor sport or sore sport. This epithet was hurled at anyone who turned over the chess board, walked angrily away from a softball game or even made a fuss about not winning Monopoly or Parchisi.You definitely did not want to be labelled a poor sport.But you will note that Trump has no problem with it.. No shame. No blushing. Not even an inaccurate, "I am not." What a pathetic poor sport he is. He cheats at golf, and then claims he's good at it. I'm sure he cheated at every game in college. He even cheated at entering college. He's up for any kind of cheating. He certainly cheats at marriage. He cheats his suppliers. He cheats on construction materials. He cheated the America people with unfulfilled promises. If he's on a diet he's certainly cheating on that. He cheats on his expenses. He cheats on his hotel rates. And now his goal is to cheat on the American people by making it harder to vote and screwing up the post office. Please, I am begging the American people to get this super sore sport out of office. If you do, he'll soon find out it's very hard to cheat in court and cheating in prison could get you killed.

HIS CRAZIEST PROJECTION YET.

Why are we, the American people, even considering voting for a president who is obviously insane? Trump is bat-shit crazy. Which must mean that we are too, for even allowing him to run, for even considering that we will turn over our country to this proven mad man.  What we we playing, Russian roulette? If he loses, we get to live. But if he wins, the country dies in his delusional madness.  He wants Biden to take a drug test because Trump is terrified of the debate. If Trump took a drug test, god knows what they'd find: Ritalin, cocaine, Abilify, Saphris, Rexulti, Vraylar, Clozaril to mention some of the cocktail it takes to keep someone this schizophrenic from blowing up the world. On Tuesday night a very terrified child named Donny will have to face someone much smarter and more adult that him, and it has him pacing, fretting, cursing and attacking everyone around him. And his only way to deal with it is to insist that Biden take a drug test. If Trump wins this election, which is highly unlikely, we should Baker Act him.

NO ABORTIONS HERE.

Thank goodness they didn't abort these children. Much better that they live so they can experience the daily torment of hunger and heat and thirst before they die an agonizing death without ever knowing that life can also be good,  Of course to the sanctimonious Christian hypocrites who bomb abortion centers and fight to get their way in various legislatures, these children don't exist. Do you think they send money, food, water. Of course not. They're bullies and only want to make life difficult for blacks and the poor and non-Christians. Show me a crowd of protestors at an abortion clinic and I'll show you a horde of monsters.

AN EARLY WELCOME.

Hey. Amy. Welcome to the Supreme Court. I assume you're going to make it as they will never find two additional patriotic Republicans to prevent your confirmation. You're going to love it. There are all kinds of luxuries in the back room that nobody knows about, including a complete gym, which you're going to need with all that expensive meals. And what a interesting group to work with. Chief Justice John Roberts is conservative but fair-minded, which drives Trump nuts.  Stephen and Samuel are nice enough, but nothing to write home about.  Sonya and Elena are both from New York, so lots of fun and laughs, unless you start spouting your handmaiden stories and then they'll roll their eyes and make themselves scarce. Neil Gorsuch is a nice enough guy, though he did steal the deserved position from Merrick Garland. Then, of course, you also stole your job from the rightful justice.  Anyway, the only ones you have to worry about are Clarence Thomas and Bret Kavanaugh. Both of them are sexual predators who were never punished. If you don't believe me ask Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford. So don't be surprised if you find either of them sniffing your robe. Also you think Trump liked you? Forget it. He lies to everyone about everything. Right now he could be telling a fellow racist, "Can you believe that Barrett bitch. She must be out of her mind, adopting two Haitians brats!" (But he won't use the word Haitians.) So have fun. But take my advice. In your spare time find out how much more Christian the Democrats are than the Republicans. Oh, and see if you can find any place in the Bible that actually mentions abortion. But right now it's obvious you would rather deny millions of Americans the security of health care and neglect your youngest children in order to serve a racist president. That speaks well for your character. 

BIDEN CAMPAIGN GAINS MAJOR MUSCLE.

Naturally, like every Democrat, I am thrilled the The Rock, is supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harrris. For Wayne Johnson to make such brave move is admirable and patriotic, since it risks his popularity and box office. But I am somewhat bothered by an NBC comment today that Johnson is the third-most popular choice for president after Trump and Biden. I find it very disturbing that the American people favor celebrities to run their country. Trump, after all only was only able to steal the election because of his popular reality show, The Apprentice. In the past we have been presented with possibilities like George Clooney and Oprah Winfrey. And, of course, we have already had one movie star. I hope this trend doesn't increase and that we go back to depending on strategists and statesmen, on skilled politicians who have moved up through the ranks earning experience and expertise. In the meantime, let's be very grateful that one of America's strongest stars is pulling for us. 

OH, HOW THE GODLY GOOF.

Michael Cohen's book is not only well written and wildly entertaining, but it confirm so many suspicions one had about Trump. For one thing, Trump is not a Christian, not a person of any belief other than his own superiority. In fact when he wanted to run, he invited all the leading evangelical leaders (read millionaire scam artists) to gather so he could convince them of his piety, which he did. He even allowed the laying of hands on him, a major sacrifice for a germaphobe. They all went away with a sense that this was truly a man of God, and have revered him ever since, despite that he never goes to church and when this famous session was over and he was alone with Cohen, he said, "Can you believe people believe that bullshit?" Just as Trump believes the crowds as his rally are "disgusting" he believes that evangelicals are idiots. As much as I detest Trump, I have to give him credit for totally fooling so many sanctimonious simpletons. But then he is the world's leading liar.

ANOTHER INSTITION TRUMPLED.

Before even joining the court Amy Coney Barrett has proven to be a hypocrite. She is not the least bothered that this move is unethical if not illegal. She doesn't care as long as it advances her career. She also isn't bothered that it denies the final wish of one of America's most respected women. She doesn't care as long as it advances her career.  She also has no respect for the Constitution's separation of church and state. She is determined to do away with abortion, A Christian's neurotic obsession and  never mentioned in the Bible. Does she even know that Trump has always been pro-choice? She doesn't care as long as catering to him advances her career. Does she also know she is not joining a respected Supreme Court. It is already polluted with two sex offenders: Bret Kavanaugh, a drunk who lied to Congress and still got confirmed and that other Republican low-life Long Dong Silver, who seldom speaks, is incredibly lazy, and is pussy whipped by his uber-Republican wife. The Supreme Court of the United States used to have learned justices and the respect of the American people who trusted it to do the correct thing. Now it is a biased roadblock to progress that is only guaranteed to the "right" thing.

THINGS ONE RUNS OUT OF: TIME AND MONEY.

Trump swears he's a multibillionaire. Really? One billion is a thousand million. That's a hell of a lot money. That's so much money that you don't have to worry about it running out.  If Trump has that kind of money, why is he so afraid of spending it. He mooches off the government for dozens of things he could easily afford. He breaks his fat ass to arrange his schedule to earn more money at his resorts and hotels off the government—not the behavior of a billionaire. Since Jared, Ivanka, Junior and Eric are busy ripping off America and various charities they have their own ill-gotten money. So why is multi-billionaire Trump so cheap? Easy. It's because he doesn't have anywhere near as much money as he claims. Which is why he's terrified that anyone will see his taxes and the pathetic way he cheats to add a few more bucks to his bankroll. No doubt Trump has millions, which he accumulated through scams, unpaid debts, rip-offs, and most important the millions his stupid father handed over to him, most of which have been lost forever in bad investments and products he thought he understood but didn't. And one of the reasons Trump is pissing his Depends every day is that when he's out of office he'll be piss poor. Why? Because he owes millions to creditors we know nothing about. Russia alone has a tab they want to see paid, which is probably why they aided him in getting the presidency, because he promised them fabulous business deals that never reached fruition. And Melania will be very disappointed to see the fortune he promised her to pretend to love him doesn't exist. She would have been better off to take the bills on the night stand.

A NEW JUSTICE, PERHAPS A NEW PUPPET.

I am not pleased about Amy Coney Barrett. Her announcement is evidence that McConnell and Trump once again ignore the rule of law to load the Supreme Court. But considering her history and reputation, I at least take heart in that she recognizes that Trump has already considered her a puppet and sycophant, which I feel certain she is not.  Trump is manic, terrified, while standing still he is running in circles. America is on to him. He will lose. And when he does, he will go. Not with a roar but a whimper. Because he  is a criminal, a con man, a fraud, who by some horrible circumstances and the interference of a foreign country became president. And America, even his fans, will soon breathe a sigh of relieve knowing the charade is over, and we are once again a democracy under the rule of a intelligent president. Amy can sabotage Roe vs, Wade. Women will find a solution other than a clothes hanger. She will never be a Ruth Bader Ginsburg because she is a person who ultimately answers to a fictitious creation in the sky, which is a denial of true intellectualism. But she won't be the toady Trump is hoping for, and she will be confirmed because there are not four decent persons in the Senate who feel any allegiance to their country. 

GAETZ GETS DISHONORABLE MENTION.

I have always felt that Matt Gaetz was kind of a creepy low-life. (Not as creepy as Jim Jordan, but close.) Now, in reading Disloyal by Michael Cohen, I have proof.  On Page l4, Michael includes a tweet by Gaetz in which Matt suggests that Michael's wife will soon learn about his girlfriends and wonders whether she'll remain faithful when he's in prison. What a juvenile, petty, shitty thing to write. But no surprise coming from a bitchy queen like Gaetz. The book, by the way, is terrific. I recommend that any person with standards (not Gaetz) read it.

DISGUSTING.

Is that you? Are you disgusting? According to Trump it's anyone who attends his rallies. It's every bleached blonde bimbo. Every fat slob housewife. Every  beer-bellied boob with a with a vulgar tee-shirt or a sweat-soaked wifebeater. It's the simpleton kids with the MAGA on backwards because when you're disgusting that's cool. It's every teen-aged moron non-virgin who will be pregnant soon and Trump will make sure you raise another low-class kid on your own. You're so disgustingTrump can't even bear the thought of shaking hands with you. For that reason, he considers Covid-19 a blessing. But no matter how little he thinks of you, how disgusting you are to him, there you are like trained chimps clapping away, cheering every verbal attack as if you knew what he was talking about. Disgusting people only have one thing to offer Trump: their vote. But, you can reverse being disgusting. How? By coming to your senses, By reading any of the many books that tell you what a scumball he is. By voting for someone who really does have your interests at heart and doesn't just pretend. Vote for Biden and start on the road to patriotism and true freedom. Or vote for Trump and remain disgusting. 

ITS AS SIMPLE AS A.C.B.

 Tomorrow at 5 pm, Trump is going to nominate Amy Coney Barrett for the Supeme Court. Though we don't know much about Barrret, we know these three things 1. She has no respect for Ruth Bader Ginsburg or she would not so eagerly ignore her dying wish. 2. She is all for doing away with Obamacare and denying healthcare to millions of Americans. 3. She is an Uber-Christian, which means for a woman charged with fairness and logic, she clings to the unproven, unscientific belief that there is a person the clouds that determines the fate of all of us. 

THE KEYSTONE KOPS OF LOUISVILLE

The police who murdered Breonna Taylor are Keystone Kops in that they are bumbling, but not the least bit amusing.  How stupid were they to invade an innocent's address without doing any further research. They maintain they had a right to kill Breona because her boyfriend fired at them. Duh. Then why shoot an unarmed innocent person? And why not just wound her, instead of firing six shots into this helpless victim. Six shots! One intended to kill. Why? Because they were scared out of their wits, which police are not supposed be. If you're that easily frightened and confused, find another job. Do I think they should all do prison time? Damn right, I do. Judging from the absurd rulings of the court. Kentucky has got to be one of the most backward states in the Nation. 

TAINTED.

While lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda is an honor worthy of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and John Lewis, it the honor has been spoiled by Tim Ryan. In his total ignorance, he stupidly pushed to have Billy Graham lie in state, and for some idiotic reason Congress allowed it. Billy Graham was a popular evangelist and a con man. He lived like royalty and died a multi-mllionaire, turning over his "con" to Franklin Graham. He was no more worthy of lying in state than Jerry Falwell, Jr. or his corrupt father or any another multi-millionaire religious racketeer who bled the poor with promises of redemption. The Capitol Rotunda should have been reserved for giants like Ginsburg, Lewis, and all the other great Americans, not for two-bit grifters in thousand-dollar suits.

 Did you happen to notice how soundly booed Trump was when he and his porn star wife showed up to pretend to show respect for Ruth Bader Ginsburg. That's the same kind of contempt you're going to get from your constituents. Hopefully some of you traitors will be looking for a new job In January.

Trump is the most pathetic liar in history. Today on the White House lawn he told one lie after another.. He has been promising better health care for for years. Nothing. His most pathetic lie today was to suggest that discarded ballots were found in a waste basket. He didn't say where, though last week he said the White House. If you're going to discard ballots you don't leave them in such a visible place. Even worse he said they were found in a river. With all these reporters, I  don't know why one ore more doesn't shout, "You're nuts.", "You're wacko.", "You're bat-shit crazy," or any of the hundreds of other expression attacking one's sanity, You know who else is crazy? Anyone who votes for this loon.

TRUMP'S INSANE SUGGESTION

Why would the American people want a "continuation" of the worst presidency in our history? Why would we want  this fat, flatulant, wasteful windbag to serve an extra day, much less four or more years? This nutcase is somehow under the impression that he has done a good job. Wrong! He thinks he's a genius. Wrong. He's a criminal and always has been: a tax cheat, a grifter,  a Russian collaborator, a mob leader. These are not accusations. There is ample proof of his criminality. He's out to destroy our democracy as a favor to his puppet master, Putin. Sadly there are many Americans who are so  stupid, so gullible, or have such larceny in their souls that they welcome chaos and lawlessness into to they fruitless lives.

MCCONNELLVILLE.

I will never understand why we waste our money on giving police officers target lessons when they always shoot to kill. With all their target practice, can't they shoot a gun or knife out of a criminal's hand? Can't they wound a person running away with a bullet in the leg? Afterwards they can arrest them at the hospital. They even shoot to kill innocent people. Breonna should be alive today. There was no need to shoot to kill. As a law-abiding white man, I consider today's verdict obscene. That girl was murdered. and somebody should pay. But then this is Kentucky, one of the most backward and racist states in America. I have never seen such smug, self-satisfied injustice. 

IN NOVEMBER YOU NEED TO SETTLE FOR GREAT.

My neighbor has a yard sign that says, "Settle for Biden". Now it's true that every Republican and every Democrat who isn't enamored about Biden would rather have a choice other than the cold, corrupt incompetent, egocentric charlatan Trump. However voting for Biden is far from settling. With Biden as President, you will have a man who attacks coronavirus with the same zeal as he and his colleagues attacked EBOLA and SARS. You will have a man that will keep your health plans intact and improve on the coverage. You will have a man who will maintain the protection of Social Security and Medicaid.You will have a man who is a  truth teller and patriot, which you don't have now. You will have a man who feels empathy, pity, love, and every other human emotion. You will have a man who doesn't think our military forces are suckers and losers. You will have a man who doesn't think you are so fragile that you can't handle important truths. Most significant of all, you will have a man.

Remember when the presidency represented dignity? No more. President Trump is the most dishonest, corrupt, and salacious president in our history. And has it occurred to you that this is the first time in American history that we know more than we should about not only the genitals of the President, but have many photos of the genitals of the First Lady. We learned all about Trump's small, malformed penis from Stormy Daniels appearance with Jimmy Kimmel. And Melania Trump's many nude photos on the Internet leave nothing to the imagination. Apparently evangelicals think having this knowledge is no big deal, but I suspect that most Americans would prefer to have a president who harkens back to the old standard, dignity. 

HE ALMOST HAD ME.

Recently when Mitt Romney voted for impeaching Trump, I figured I had him all wrong. Maybe he would have made a good president after all. But this week when he approved of rushing another Supreme Court Justice in despite Ruth Bader Ginsburg's dying and appropriate wish, I realized he's just another corrupt Republican  who has no respect for the Constitution. And his previous impeachment vote was just to get even with Trump.

ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE CONSUMERS WORK.

Today, my Publix at Brickell Village (the store that can't decide whether it's a grocery store or a discotheque) added yet another offensive "feature": self check out. Now its very convenient 10 items or fewer lines are do-it-yourself pains in the ass. Not only do they make more work for their so-called "valued customer", but they eventually replace jobs that people need,  for the sake of more corporate profits. So now while you're shopping to the distracting blare of only pop music, you have to make sure you purchase at least eleven items unless you don't mind taking away somebody's living.

TRUMP'S FINAL INSULT.

Will Trump really have the nerve to visit Ruth Bader Ginsburg's casket on the steps of the Supreme Court? Does he have no sense of honor? After he was practically gleeful at her death, instantly seeing it as an opportunity to stack the court in his favor. And then dishonoring her final wish that no justice be appointed  until after the election. Trump is a pig, an immoral, indecent, incompetent slob with no respect for his country, its citizens, its allies, its Constitution. If he has brought down this country so low, and cheapened our standards so completely that he gains another term—with the help of his evil comrades—I can't imagine how painful it will be to watch his final destruction of the world's greatest democracy.

A CLEAN SLATE.

 Just think by November 3, you could have a completely new clean Republican slate in government. You could be well rid of the coldest, greediest, meanest, most incompetent president in American history. And since he'll be an ordinary citizen, you'll have the joy of seeing him go on trial or all his criminal activities and even go to jail for some of them like tax evasion. But your clean slate could also include the gutless, traitorous, scum of the Republican Senate. You might even find out why they were so loyal to this heartless orangutan. And your clean slate benefits includes no more of your tax money being spent for his costly golf games, putting the secret service up at his overpriced resorts, or on the pretend expenses of of his profligate children. A clean slate means no more princely salaries to less than princely men; no more daily insults of a press secretary lying to your face and expecting you to believe her; no more porcine Attorney General breaking the law on a daily basis; and no more whispered midnight calls from Trump to Putin telling him all our secrets. Best of all, it means protecting and preserving the country you love that you came so close to losing.

THINGS THAT SHOULD BOTHER REPUBLICANS.

As a Republican it should bother you that Trump is not a Republican and never was. He was a pro-choice Democrat until he felt he had a better chance with the GOP. It should bother you that Mitch McConnell is a terrible example of your political philosophy. He is lazy, corrupt, vengeful and petty. Is that what Republlicans are? It should bother you that in the Senate there are not two more Republicans in addition to Collins and Murkowski who will vote against petulantly and unfairly rushing a new Justice into the court. It should bother you that Lindsey Graham has gone completely against his word and doesn't care. It should bother you that Trump will complete destroy your party given another four years. Whereas if you believe in your party, then you'll have time during Biden's administration to find honest men and woman who can restore and revitalize its standards and goals in time for the next election.

NO WINNERS HERE.

On May 30,  there was a Blacks Lives Matter protest in Omaha, Nebraska.  During the protest white bar owner Jacob Gardner, 38, shot African-American protester James Scurlock, 22, who died. For a while it appeared that Gardner was going to get off with the fake plea of self-defense. Then the Grand Jury stepped in and Mr. Gardner was charged with manslaughter and faced trial. He was so stunned by the indictment that days later he committed suicide. I don't know what caused the altercation. I don't know anything else.

I don''t want to know anything else. All I know is that because guns are so available and hate is so stupidly rampant that two people are dead.

RETRIBUTION

 An arrogant and smug Donald Trump said, in referring to his pushing for a new Supreme Court justice, 'You can do what you want when you have the Senate." That's true Donny. But what's also true is when you don't have the Senate, you do what you're told. Hopefully that will be your deserved fate in the coming year. You'll show up for hearings when you're told to. You'll answer questions when you're asked. And if there is justice in the world, you'll go to prison and sleep, shower, eat, and do whatever you're told when you're told. And all you'll have to remember what freedom was like is that incredible memory of yours.

 

Because of Trump, the health care of 20 million Americans is at risk. And you're planning to vote for Trump? Don't you ever plan on needing health care? 

THE MISTAKE OF ALL MISTAKES.

We Democrats appreciate that if Trump gets another term it will be a disaster for America. Is it even possible that Trump voters are blind to the dangers? Can't they see, as we do, that Trump wants to be an autocrat, a dictator, a king. Do these alternate voters really want a king, a supreme ruler, a person who will strip them of all their democratic rights? Is that possible? Do they want a despot who has already indicated that he will abolish Social Security and their health coverage? Why? What's in it for them, or for their children. Eventually will you have to sing an anthem to Trump before every ball game. Will there be huge photos of him everywhere as there are with other tyrants? He has already won over the Republican Senate to his evil plan. Will there be a Trump army to curtail all your freedoms even more? It would not be the first time a mad man has ruled a nation, or those who gave him power cried, "What have we done."

ONE IN A MILLION

 The one in a million is Trump's boast that, "I have one of the great memories of all time". This was proven to be yet another Trump lie with the release of the video of the deposition in 2015 regarding the Trump University fraud. If you watch it you'll see he can't remember anything, even persons he said he knew as recently as five years ago. A great memory? No. Just another one of the millions of lies he's been telling all his life. And what's amazing is that there are still gullible people who believe what he says. Really. That's no lie.

THERE'S STILL TIME FOR SENATORS.

I don't know why the Republicans in the Senate wouldn't remove Trump when it was so obvious he was corrupt. I don't know why they rush to Trump's  defense even when his crimes are indefensible. I don't know so many parents in the Senate who swore allegiance to our Constitution are reneging on that oath and betraying America for an incompetent thug and leaving their children with such a stigma. And I don't know if there's a chance in hell any Republican Senator would read this. But it's not too late. Regardless of why you're loyal, or why you're afraid, or what Trump or Putin knows about you, it's not too late to be a patriot. Now we know that we can't expect decency and patriotism from Senators too deeply mired in the filth of Trumpism—traitors like Jim Jordan, Mitch McConnell,  Lindsey Graham, and Tom Cotton. But there are less public Senators who know full well how corrupt Trump and his cronies are. These are the men and woman who still have time to redeem themselves and find a honorable place in history. 

HOW DID TRUMP DO IT?

 Easy. Early in the COVID-19 scare, Trump knew how dangerous and deadly the virus was. After all he had information others didn't. As he said to Woodward, "If it gets you, you don't have a chance." But he didn't want people to protect themselves to the detriment of his economy. So when in public or on TV, he downplayed the danger. Now the trusting public, believing him, didn't feel a great need to mask up or keep their distance. After all, the president said it was less dangerous than the flu. So they socialized and partied and went shopping and dined at restaurants. And soon many of them became ill. And nearly 200,000 of them became seriously ill. And they couldn't understand why since Trump said there was no danger. And in no time at all they found themselves in crowded hospitals with no visitors allowed. Among their many terrifying symptoms was the inability to catch their breath. And every pain was magnified by not having a loved one to hold their hand or lie and say things will work out. Then one by one they died. And each of the myriad deaths was heartbreaking to their families. But it was also disturbing to the brave nurses and doctors who so valiantly worked to keep them alive and make them well. And all over America there were thousands and thousands of unanticipated funerals and wishes that one had known the truth to avoid each death. And though this all began with Trump's "underplaying" the danger, he refused to accept any responsibility. And to this day he fails to warn fans at his ego-boosting rallies that they are exposing themselves to the same virus that has already killed so many of trusting believers.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR DISTANCE.

How much danger is Trump exposing his fans to with his ego-boosting rallies?  Well, in Tulsa within a week a reporter who attended the Trump rally tested positive for COVID-19. So did six campaign staffers and two members of the Secret Service who worked in advance of the rally. Within a week Tulsa saw a spike in cases. Knowing this, the White House did nothing to require greater safety measures (notably masks) at future ego-boosting rallies. Why? Because Trump really didn't care what happened to these people since he is unable to relate to anyone but himself. Or was later revealed when yet another White House staffer quit, Trump declared he was pleased that the virus meant he didn't have to shake hands with these "disgusting people." So if you are one of his gullible fans, you might want to explore why you have such low self esteem that you are willing to risk your life to provide the adoration required by someone who considers you a "disgusting person." Fortunately many Oklahomans thought more of themselves than those who attended leaving the stadium more than half empty to Trump's horror.

       TRUMP AND THE DISGUSTING PEOPLE.

THE BIG HUH.

On the Internet, there are constant reports that Biden is leading, that Trump is leading. That such and such a state favors one of the other. This doesn't seem odd to me. After all we've always been exposed to this kind of tension during an election season. What does bother me is to consider that it is even possible for a country to have a serious competition between a proven decent, honest, family man with tons of experience in politics and a proven unqualified criminal. Has our country really become so corrupt and indifferent to morality that many can no longer see a clear moral imperative? Or worse, have we become so risk-happy and suicidal that many would rather see the calamitous results of a bad choice than the safe, predictable comforts of a wise one. It isn't even a question of maybe Trump is corrupt and deceitful. We have boundless proof that he is. Yet, there are still voters who are either blind to his total incompetence, or have a Thelma and Louise attitude about the end of America because it didn't work out for them. 

HELEN GREEN

In a hilarious 2015 video just released, Donald Trump is questioned about his self-described "greatest memory" during a deposition regarding fraud accusations about Trump University. First of all, he can't recall ever saying he had a great memory. Then, given a list of instructor's names, he claimed to have hand picked, he can't recall a single one. Worse he claims it was too long ago (five years!) I wish Trump fans would watch this video and see what a pathetic fake Trump is. Why the title of this post? Because I don't claim to have a great memory. Testing it, I chose Helen's name at random to see what I could remember. What I do recall was that she was an eight-year old black girl who lived in our neighborhood in Roxbury, Mass.  She raised rabbits, went to a different elementary school than I did, and I was constantly teased that she was my girlfriend. That's all I remember, Donald, but I don't have one of the worlds best memories like you do, and it was 70 years ago.

'DARLING, THIS IS OUR CHANCE."

 We are all (well not all) saddened by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Trump and McConnell are gleeful as it may give them the chance to put another right-wing misogynist on the court. Two of the Republican's latest additions are real winners: Clarence Thomas who no doubt sexually intimidated and harassed Anita Hill, and Brett Kavanaugh who, without question, sexually assaulted Christine Ford when they were in high school. Who's the next GOP justice, a serial killer? In this situation McConnell is even more of a villain than Trump because he is going completely against a policy he "allegedly" held in the past, (the ugly hypocrite). Trump, on the other hand, never in his life did the honorable thing. How can we Americans have any faith in the Supreme Court when it is already tainted by two unworthy judges who were crowbarred into the court, and possibly a third wrongfully installed intruder is on his or her way. 

NOT THE CREME DE LA CREME.

For some bizarre reason many higher priced (often pretentious) restaurants don't serve cream or half-and-half. The server usually informs you of this lack with a sense of haughty pride, as if to say, "ain't we elegant?"  I don't know what inspires this situation, but to me coffee makes a meal and cream makes the coffee and I detest the taste of milk in mine. So my solution to this situation is that I don't order dessert, which reduces the tip, and no matter how good the food is, I never return to that restaurant. I gave up long ago asking why they don't serve cream as I never get a response less than defensive or uncurious. And since I am a person who speaks up, I am sure they have many other disappointed customers who say nothing. Still I find it very odd that any restaurant will assume such a ridiculous standard, when they could easily purchase a pint of half-and-half for such a difficult, demanding and low-brow customers like me. 

ATTENTION: WOMEN OF KENTUCKY.

I hope you appreciate what an insult it is to women everywhere that Mitch McConnell has no intention of honoring Ruth Bader Ginsburg's final request that a new Justice isn't appointed until after the election.  This is just another example of your Senator's pettiness and hypocrisy when you consider he wouldn't allow President Obama to name a justice to the Supreme Court during his last year, giving some kind of cockamamie reasoning. McConnell has proven to be a willful, biased, pig-headed, do nothing Senator who has sat stubbornly on programs that would benefit Kentucky and the nation. I can only hope the citizens of Kentucky vote this blight out of office in November.

HAIR APPARENT

 There was a very amusing article in Salon today by Lucian K. Truscott IV. It was all about Trump's time-consuming devotion to his hair and to very little else. It seems to me that Trump wouldn't bother to run for president knowing he would have to devote more time to his hair than to his country. Still, it occurred to me there was another reason that he shouldn't have run for office, or at least a man with some kind of character shouldn't. And that is his wife. A decent man would feel that it wasn't proper to introduce an ex porn star into the gallery of First Ladies, not after such distinguished women as Dollie Madison, Abigail Adams, Abigail Fillmore, Jackie Kennedy, Betty Ford, and Lady Bird Johnson to name just a very few. Trump's wife is on the Internet under "Melania nude", leaving nothing to the imagination. In some photos she is sexually embracing another woman or giving a man oral sex. There is nothing wrong with these actions, but one doesn't expect them from the First Lady of the United States. The trouble with history is that it's history. So we can't erase Trump's clownish administration or the many angles we have had of a his stark naked wife. Still, his obsession with his hair is rather funny.

A LOSS THAT WILL GROW GREATER WITH TIME.

One of America's greatest, most inspirational women died today: Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I will not try to say words of praise that thousands will say better than me. What is worrying is that her final request is that no new Supreme Court justice replace her until the new President is elected. But knowing how slimy, petty, and vindictive both Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are they will try to rush in a replacement immediately, totally ignoring the final wish of this great world figure. If so, I hope it results in a storm of angry protest and gives Americans even more reason to rid us of both these heartless villains.

 Do you make $400,000 a year or more? No. Then the Trump commercial suggesting that Biden will raise your taxes has nothing to do with you. It's just another one of Trump's many thousands and thousands of lies. 

WHY EVERY AMERICAN PATRIOT SHOULD VOTE.

Why? Because only with a clear landslide, can we be absolutely sure the Joe Biden will be elected president and Trump can't pull any of his dirty tricks, confusing tactics and lies. And not only will be get rid of the most incompetent and evil president who ever fouled the Oval Office, but think of the other cretins who will be gone. William Barr, the most corrupt Attorney General in history; Betsy DeVos, the most incompetent old witch to ever erode our educational system; Louis DuJoy, the obedient toady who tried to and nearly destroyed our postal service; Elaine Chao, the pitiable wife of the ugliest man in Congress; Steven Mnuchin, the parasitic vacationer who stole our tax dollars; Mike Pompeo, the pompous lawbreaking ass; Alex Azar, a completely useless parasite; Ben Carson, the winner of every Uncle Tom award; and Kayleigh Mcenany, whose constant daily lies have been one of the most irritating aspects of this despicable administration. And goodbye to less visible naifs given office for no good reason. All gone, if American patriots get out and vote as if our future, our democracy, and our reputation in the world depends on a landslide because it does.

THE TRIUMPH OF TROYE.

When the super-admirable Olivia Troye quit her White House job because of that rare White House commodity Integrity, she refused to say anything negative about her boss Mike Pence. This reticence made me wonder if I haven't been too harsh in my opinion of Pence. But when he was asked about the resignation, he referred to Troye as yet another disgruntled employee. This confirmed every opinion I had of Pence as a ignorant, shallow, sanctimonious, lying toady.
