PAYING TRIBUTE TO A TYRANT.

I respect the police and certainly accept that they are mostly hard-working admirable public servants who unfortunately have their share of bullies and bigots like any other organization, but I still find it hard to accept that The International Union of Police Associations has endorsed a proven criminal. By  giving their nod to Donald Trump, they are sanctioning all his lies, deceits, frauds, imprisoning of children and racism. I don't see law enforcement officers condoning this kind of behavior even if he has benefitted them in the past. Everything about the Trump administration screams corruption. Biden, being noted for fairness, is much more likely to smooth the troubled waters between police forces and protesters and do it with more sincerity. If Trump has generously armed police forces and been outspoken in their defense, it is because he wants to be associated with power and the force of law, thus borrowing a masculinity and strength he doesn't possess. Still he's a con-man, a fraud, a heartless would-be dictator, a racist, and the last person who should be endorsed and backed by an association of law enforcers.
