As a gay man in Miami I am, of course, offended by Thom Brennaman's homophobic comment. But I don't think he should lose his job and livelihood for being a jerk. It's great that gay men can come out of the closet and be themselves. Men like Thom are late catching on. One comment does not prove he is homophobic. Frankly I am much more offended by gay men who, for some bizarre and inexplicable reason, refer to themselves as queer. I am an atheist, but so many people say they are Christians, then how about a little Christian forgiveness for Mr. Brennaman. If an atheist doesn't demand harsh punishment for this "sin" why should anyone else?

OFFENSIVE, NOT EARTH SHAKING.
