NOT SINCE MARY SHELLEY'S "FRANKENSTEIN"

Loving Mary Trump's book. My only complaint is that she gives Fred Trump too much credit for corrupting his son Donald. I think basically Fred just realized that Donald was the rotten apple that didn't fall far from the tree, and admired his evilness. Mary makes us aware that Ivana was just as shallow as we thought Melania was in for the money; Marla was his only decent wife; and Donny was a creep from day one. Also despite the wealth of the family, they were as common as dirt. They were not generous, not cultured, not refined, nor sophisticated. The saddest story in the book is that of Mary's father Freddy, who was too weak to overcome the bullying of Fred and became a sickly alcoholic who died at 42. The most disturbing aspect of the book is to realize that someone as intellectually limited and dishonest as Donald Trump can through sheer arrogance, deceit, and willpower become a famous apparent success, without paying for his many sins—so far.
