I think it's both brilliant and generous for NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, and NBPA Executive Director, Michelle Roberts, to volunteer to turn arenas into voting sites this November. First of all, voters know where these sites are. They won't mind waiting in line at a location they like to visit. The size allows for the necessary distancing. Trump's thugs won't feel as free to bully voters in such an open setting. And there's no danger of standing around in inclement weather. Perfect. I am not an avid sports fan, but am wildly impressed with how patriotic and self-sacrificing all the players on these teams have proven themselves to be. If only we could get some of that patriotism from our cowardly and treasonous Senators.
