Since the predominantly Republican State of Texas is obviously not interested in being part of a democracy, does not believe that all citizens should be able to vote, and has no desire to create any kind of gun control, I suggest that we allow them to secede from the Union which they have been itching to do for years. On the day they finally get their heart's desire, I suggest we make Washington D.C. a state.This is a very practical move as it will help us get rid of our most unpatriotic and racist lawmakers and still have fifty states so we won't have the expenses of redoing the flag. It's a win-win.
