THE 'YOU KNOW' TRAP.

 Marc E. Polymeropoulos is the brilliant author of the book Clarity in Crisis. He is also, like so many intelligent people, a victim of "youknowism". I was just watching him on Morning Joe and he must have said "you know" a hundred times. I don't know why so many people fall into this language trap, but it is epidemic. Many famous and intelligent people are victims including Michelle Obama, who quickly overcame it. I would have no way of reaching Mr. Polymeropoulos, but if anyone knows him, please bring this habit to his attention.
