Not amused by Colbert portraying Biden (via Dana Carvey) as a bumbling old fool. Biden does not deserve that kind of ridicule and it is hardly constructive at a time when Trump would like nothing better than for his fans so see Biden as dotty and infirm. Biden has been strong, focused and intensely articulate at a time when we need a strong and kindhearted leader. It's very disturbing to see Colbert do Trump's dirty work. It makes me suspect that we will lose our wonderful democracy because even otherwise brilliant persons like Colbert have lost their sense of balance during this frightening high wire act.
