I found Chuck Schumer's speech yesterday about the absurdity of Republican voting rules absolutely brilliant. It was so lucid, so clear, so obvious to anyone with half a brain that the 10th of a brain Republican traitors are sure to ignore it. Today I expect the slimy GOP Senators to betray our country once again and get away with it. I found it especially disturbing that no mention was made of this great speech on HuffPost or Salon. I wonder why. Our democracy is slowly disappearing, and unless somebody puts a stop to this madness, we will all soon be living in a restrictive racist society ruled by mostly old white men and their bigoted sycophants.
