How naive we Democrats are to think that Corporate America cares about democracy. It turns out that we were blind not to know that such leaders as A T & T, Comcast, Phillip Morris, Walmart, Verizon, GM, Pfizer and other giants were among the most prolific donors to the GOP knowing they were devoted to voter repression. So while we were trying to get Delta and Coca Cola to show contempt for Georgia's racist laws, we were getting screwed by other big names in business. These companies have made their reputations in America, grown on the patronage of American consumers. How sad to know that they are willing to betray our trust, and quick to use our money to further racism and voter suppression in the United States. If there are American companies who are true patriots please make yourselves known so we can send a wave of loyalty in your direction and away from these turncoats.
