I don't know who writes Tara Reade's scripts, but I doubt very much that a man trying to seduce a woman at the office and not wishing for her to report him or seek revenge would say to her, "You're nothing to me." That sounds much more like a retort that an important man would deliver to an insignificant employee who was trying to seduce him and failed. And I don't see it being said angrily but as a honest reprimand. I also see such a woman, in fear of her husband hearing of the incident, telling him the employer has harassing her. Hence his naive newspaper comment. Pity MSNBC can't see any side but Tara's.
