A Columbia University study has shown in a recent analysis that roughly 36,000 lives could have been saved from COVID-19 if social distancing measures had been enacted just one week earlier. Rather than take responsibility for his deadly tardiness President Trump accused the university of a "hit job" with his usual unwillingness to admit that his incompetence alone was responsible for so many unnecessary deaths.
