IT'S OUR OWN FAULT, SORTA.

We should have fought to abolish the electoral college ages ago. Look at how much it has cost us. We've been stuck with two totally useless presidents, when we could have had intelligent and forceful leaders. We were cheated out of Gore, the actual winner, thanks to the right-leaning Supreme Court. Gore was a man of science and integrity who would have kept us out of that ridiculous fake war with Iraq and addressed the dangers of climate change when there was still time to do more about it.  Instead we got a buffoon and warmongering VP who got us into a fake war that led to the deaths of thousands of Americans and even more innocent civilians, including children. After two glorious terms of being blessed with President Barack Obama, we got cheated out of popular vote winner Hillary Clinton, a brilliant woman ideally prepared to lead our nation. She would have addressed all our health, welfare, immigration, and infrastructure problems with a cool head and wide experience. Instead we got an illiterate Russian-promoted nitwit who spoils everything he touches to the delight of his puppeteer Putin. Coming up is the opportunity to regain our torn and tattered country and once again put it in the competent hands of a Democratic leader. If we get cheated again, game over.
