There are many stories on the Internet that interest me. But as soon as I find they're a NEXTTRAP, and require me to move to another ad-filled area, I quit. Yes, I want to see what so and so looks like now. Yes, I'd love to know the amazing thing that happened to such and such. But not enough to be led along by some smart ass person who thinks I'll fall for their bait and switch technique.
