When Donald Trump says he wants to get even with his enemies, do you know who those enemies are? They are not persons who did Trump harm, but those who prevented Trump from doing harm. Think of them as the homeowners who scared off the burglar before he could steal the family silver, thus making them the burglar's enemies. Donald has no real enemies except for the men and women he liked and trusted until they recognized what an evil narcissist he is and wisely rejected him. He regards the simplest betrayal as deserving of severe punishment. So if he wins this election, it gives him carte blanche to punish persons whose only crime was recognizing Trump for the monster he is.  And while he's at it, the rest of us will suffer because to a misanthrope like Trump everyone is an enemy.
