Ron DeSantis, the putty-faced Governor of Florida, obviously sees himself as the heir apparent to Trump. While he is as corrupt as Donald and as much of a science denier, Ronald isn't nearly as clever or charismatic. He is unlikely to develop the kind of following of gullible goons that the King of the Grifters has amassed. True, Ron's ill-conceived understanding of Covid has killed an impressive number of Floridians and tourists, but not nearly as many as Donald has wiped out. And DeSantis's totally bitchy and unfounded attacks on American hero Dr. Fauci make him look spiteful and uneducated, which he is, and can only lead to more death credits among the brainwashed unvaccinated. DeSantis already has visions of himself as the next president and has been known to frequently vilify Trump when he feels he's in safe company. But with so many Trump fans everywhere, all Ron's disloyal comments are sure to reach Donald's sensitive ears. So don't be surprised if they have a falling out before Ron's pudgy little hands can get a firm grip on Trump's coattails.
